The Club Cult is operated by AGENCY CULT SASU, a simplified joint-stock company incorporated under French law.
These terms explain how to cancel and when a refund is due, for two separate things: your Membership, and a Service Booking. Event registration is governed by the terms shown at registration. Nothing here reduces a consumer below the protection of the Code de la consommation. Terms written with a capital letter have the meaning given in the Legal Definitions Master.
You may cancel your Membership at any time on the website or through the account deletion function. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless you request immediate closure. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, except where the law requires it, where the statutory withdrawal right applies under the Terms of Use, or where the late tacit-renewal information rule in the Membership Terms applies. The Founding price lock is forfeited on cancellation, as set out in the Membership Terms.
A Service is provided by an Expert. The refund depends on how far before the Service date you cancel. The Expert may set their own cancellation policy, provided it is no less favourable to a Member than the table below and no less favourable than French consumer law.
| When you cancel | Refund to the Member |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the Service date | 100 percent of the Service Fee |
| Between 7 and 14 days before the Service date | 50 percent of the Service Fee |
| Less than 7 days before the Service date | No refund, unless the Expert agrees otherwise |
If the Expert cancels, or does not provide the Service, the Member receives a 100 percent refund of the Service Fee, including any Commission. The Platform may take this into account in the Expert standing.
Where a Service cannot take place because of a documented force majeure event, the Member receives a 100 percent refund of the Service Fee.
Under Article L221-28, 12 of the Code de la consommation, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to a Service or an Event provided on a specific date or for a specific period. This does not affect the cancellation rights in this document.
A refund is made through Stripe to the original payment method. The time to appear depends on the bank, normally a few business days. Where a Booking is refunded, any Commission attributable to the refunded part is returned in line with the Booking and Payment Terms.
If you are not satisfied with a Service, the dispute process and the time limits are set out in the Booking and Payment Terms, including a 14-day window after the Service to raise a dispute on the Platform. Your right to bring a matter before a court or a consumer mediator is not affected.
